  13. I have a Emplant MAC PRO system running very nicely BUT (the reason why I 
  14. got it) I cant get the Ethernet to WORK for MACTCP to get it onto my 
  15. network to use.. I did not verify that it would do what I wanted to do 
  16. before I purchased it (oh well) BUT I beleive it would.

  23. Emplant Deluxe with MACPRO upgrade and the e586
  24. APPLE 345meg DRIVE on the MAC SCSI

  26. SYSTEM 7.1
  27. MAC TCP 2.0.5
  28. 1.0 gig IDE drice for AMIGA only

  30. I have so far gotten MAC TCP installed on to the 7.1 and gone into the 
  31. control panel and selected ETHERNET (localtalk) it says or somthing like 
  32. that (NOT PPP).  I put my IP and my DNS info in.  I SET the class stuff
  33. right and selected MANUALLY for the IP. I beleive the MACTCP config is 
  34. correct.

  36. ON EMPLANT I got all the selections right and selected in the networks my 
  37. A2065.device for the network device driver that is in the devs: 
  38. directory.

  40. ANY info would be great.. I have not docs for the MAC PRO.. I am now 
  41. going to go looking for them BUT am hopeing maybe someone has an IDEA.
